Headless Cuckoo now Built For BlackBerry approved

I am pleased to inform that Headless Cuckoo for BB10 is now Built For Blackberry approved.

This means that it has been positively verified for full compliance with all BlackBerry criteria when it comes to UI design, power and resource efficiency, user expierience, code quality, security, functionality, etc.

It is also the only headless hourly chime app for BB10 with the Built For BlackBerry designation.

Headless Cuckoo is available in the BlackBerry World

  2. Nokia (or Microsoft) made such a mess with the Ovi store that there is absolutely nothing developers can do about it. We haven't yet decided if we migrate our apps to the Opera store or not, because Opera does not provide any content protection nor do they support Symbian Signed, which makes it impossible to further develop or update any Symbian applications.

Sadly, there is nothing we can do to help you get the apps because even we don't have them. Nokia wasn't providing developers with the signed versions. The only thing I can suggest is to contact the Ovi Store customer support and demand that they provide you with the apps.

P.S. While I understand your frustration, please don't post this under every blog post. This Headless Cuckoo app was never released for Symbian so your comment to this app is not relevant.

  5. Hi guys,
I've just installed this app on my BlackBerry Passport and it looks great.
I would like to request a new feature please.
It would be excellent if this app could have more customise options, or multiple alarm. For example: having the chime on the hour, and another option to have a different chime every half hour. And another option to have a chime at selected times such as every 20 minutes, or every hour at 20 past.
So I can have the cuckoo every hour, and a short tone on the half hour, and another at my preferred time.

    Cheers.

  8. Love, love your app. I would like to suggest an idea. At the interval when the chime is set and played, is it possible to activate an image chosen by user to display on screen. As a result, user can listen to sound and view an image at the same time.

  9. Love...Love...this app. It would be great if an image could be displayed at the same time when the chime is played. The image is selected in advance by the user. Thank you. Love all your other apps too
